Started off the day at our little cafe Lime Cafeteria for brekky. Eva had the healthy waffle with fruit and I had the healthy eggs benedict with bacon and lime bernaise. Mmm..
Got lost end route to view some forest and had to back track to get back onto the Taupo road.
Stopped for lunch at a glass blowing gallery and had a lovely salmon and prawn salad before buying a green vase.
Got into Taupo and found our lodgings on the road out of town. It does have a nice view of the lake with the snow capped-mountain in the distance.
Booked into our jet boat ride and sunk a Mata Manuka Ale, with a hint of the honey in it. So you know that it has to be good for you.
And away we went! Eva just loves a jet boat ride.
And it sure worked up our appetites!
